Summary

According to UNICEF, “Inclusive education allows students of all backgrounds to learn and grow side by side, to the benefit of all.” This session is intended to share strategies for building community and fostering inclusion in the classroom with all students.

The interactive workshop will balance experiential learning with strategies and discussion. We will explore strategies and tools used in the classrooms regarding morning meetings, group-making, collaborative activities, and STEM challenges. All these strategies and tools have been used in classrooms with inclusion students with positive outcomes.
