Frank Volpe holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, an M.A. in Counseling and Educational Psychology, and an M.A. in Multicultural Special Education. Frank has experience working as a special education teacher, counselor and PK-12 administrator in the United States, China, and Ecuador where he is currently the Director General of the American School of Quito.
Universal Design for Learning: An Introduction
This workshop will introduce participants to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and it's foundation in research. UDL is a framework for ensuring access for all students to the written, taught, and assessed curriculum. UDL helps educators plan for learner variability and remove barriers to success.
