Anarosy Torres

BIO

Anarosy Torres, B.S in Ed ECSE, BCaBA, is the Behavior Specialist and MTSS Coach at

InterAmerican Academy. She has experience working with neurodiverse young children and school-age children and their families in a variety of settings, including in-home, clinic, public and private schools, and telehealth models, in Ecuador, Perú and the US. Anarosy received her B.S in Early Childhood Special Education from Loyola University Chicago, a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Tech University, and the Behavior Analyst Certification at the undergraduate level from the Behavior Analysts Certification Board. She is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology at Universidad Casa Grande. Anarosy is passionate about neurodiversity and inclusion, and considers herself a life-long learner.

Summary:

The goal of this workshop is to share evidence-based strategies that will decrease the likelihood of problem behaviors to occur. Through this presentation participants will learn to create appropriate and meaningful environments that reduce stress, anxiety and frustration, while teaching independence.
